About this campaign

I met Temple on August 21st, 2023. From the first time I picked her up and put her on my shoulder, I decided I was leaving with her. From what I know Temple (the name given by the shelter), was found when she was around 7months old and was at the shelter for 5 months before I met her. She is my only cat in the house, and she is spoiled like a princess.

She is the sweetest little baby. Anybody who knows me knows Temple is my heart and soul. She loves playing with my yarn as I crochet and loves scratching the couch. She’s exceptionally smart, having learned sit, paw, and high five. She loves to cuddle under the blankets and sit between you on the couch to just feel included.

Temple loves to scratch the couch while making eye contact with you. Despite having a scratcher nearby (which she does use), the couch seems to be more fun. She gets these ridiculous zoomies after pooping, which I call poomies, in which she makes growling noises and literally bounce off the walls. She loves bread (we don’t feed it to her on purpose), but if you leave it out, it’s fair game.

On Jan 9, she was having a hard time breathing, was lethargic and her stomach was swollen. I immediately took her to VERG 24hr emergency, and she was immediately put in an oxygen cage. She was also given light sedative along with asthma med and a bronchodilator since her airways were inflamed. She was advised by Dr. Valentine to be kept in the ICU for 24-36 hours to monitor her condition.

I paid $1028.81 for the initial treatment of oxygen, emergency treatment, chest scan, and dr assessment through 2 credit cards.
The 2nd payment I had to open a card to be put on a 6 month interest free payment plan for $1784.73. The total after meds was $3635.34
