I'm a widow with stage iv metastatic breast cancer. I had to put down my English Mastiff due to cancer and was getting depressed. My grandson called and asked if I wanted a pitbull pup that someone had gotten from the pound and could no longer keep. I said sure. Tess was brought to me and basically saved my life. We live with 2 macaws, an African Grey and a cat. She loves to run in the back yard.

Tess has turned into a velcro dog. If you tell her your mad at her, she can't stand it. She puts her face against yours and presses into you until you tell her she's a good girl. She's smart and learned quickly to potty outside. I'm amazed.. This is the first unregistered dog I've had and so intelligent and loving! She's so velcro she sleeps between my legs on the bed.

She's just such a loving critter that wants nothing but to make you happy. She doesn't have an enemy. Anyone that comes over is welcomed by her and properly loved on. When she was younger I took her to the National Night Out Festival. She thought everyone was there to love on her, it was so bad I had to take her back home.

I took Tess to the vet after a tornado had hit thinking she had a splinter in her paw from downed trees. They said she had a patella issue that required surgery. Her knee keeps popping out of the tunnel underneath its supposed to stay in.

With no life insurance. Being as my health wouldn't allow me to work, I had to go on ssdi. I do get social security of his. At any rate it's enough to pay the bills and that's it. I love my baby and she hurts. It kills me.
