Tessa was a rescue from South Carolina who ventured up north in 2017 as a puppy and met us in a Walmart parking lot in CT. Ever since that moment she has been a core family member and the love of our lives. She has helped kids grow up and learn what responsibility is and shown us what true unconditional love is. She has been the rock of our family ever since she came running off the trailer.

Tessa loves a comfy bed and some sunlight to lay in and you better believe she is getting all up in the pillows. At night she can be found right next to mom in bed leaving everyone else with no space. She happily greets everyone with lots of kisses and is a big cuddle bug who loves and trusts everyone. Don't be fooled though because she has no problem destroying toys on a whim.

Although she loves everyone she is equally terrified of all of mother nature. You can usually find her wrapped up in bed with her big red knit blanket during bad weather. The look of true joy on her face as she barrels to you when you come home from work is the most amazing part of the day. She has some of the most amazing facial expressions that truly show how stubborn she is.

Tessa was a healthy and happy dog just having her yearly check up but unfortunately shortly after she began having issues urinating blood and is suspected to suffer from a rare condition called Idiopathic Renal Hematuria. After visits to 5 different vets, hospitals, & emergency rooms over the last 3 weeks it's been determined she requires a scope and cauterization somewhere in her kidney/bladder

In the last year we have been taking care of my sisters 3 children with no assistance in addition to our own 3 kids and have been making it work. Sadly we have already spent $8k in 3 weeks and her future surgery is estimated to cost another 6k-10k. She is our child as well.
