Truth be told Amy never really quite understood dog people until she fell in love with Thatcher! He has shown her there is no love that compares to that of a dog!

Thatcher recently had a horrific accident with a lawnmower and unfortunately his right front leg was severed along with two toes on his front right foot. Subsequently he had had his front leg amputated at the shoulder. This all happened less than two weeks after a move from NH to FL! The cost is scary and close to $20,000. This is not something anyone can prepare for.

Thatcher hasn’t had it easy always. He had his first seizure at 3. Thankfully that is well controlled with medication. Thatcher is the snuggle bug with his mom. He bring an immense amount of joy to Amy who is trying to rebuild her life in a new place!
