Theo is a 5-year-old Domestic Short Hair Cat in Caldwell, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Bladder Obstruction Surgery.

Theo was brought into our lives by chance as a kitten. He was a street cat born in the late fall/early winter who needed a warm home to call his own. My younger brother who has the biggest heart brought the sweetest kitten my family has ever met into our lives. Theo has been with us through a few hardships including many moves and the loss of my mother. Theo was truly treasured by my mother.

Theo is the funniest and sweetest cat. He is extremely lovable and will cozy up with anyone he meets. He grew up with two older sisters (cats) who bossed him around and taught him how to be a cat. Unfortunately, Theo and my family lost his oldest sister who was 17 years old just a week before his life-threatening diagnosis. Theo loves food, cuddles, & love, and is often referred to as a cat dog.

Theo has brought immeasurable happiness and comfort to our lives for his five years with us. His playful antics, gentle purring, and unwavering companionship have been a constant source of solace, especially since the loss of my mother. We simply cannot fathom parting ways with him, especially given the potential for a successful surgery to restore his health and allow him to lead a fulfilling lif

Theo was diagnosed with bladder disease at the age of 3. This is when we learned about how to manage this disease including a specific/strict diet of urinary geared food. Recently we learned that Theo had a ton of sediment in his bladder which led to an obstruction/blockage. This is a life-threatening situation that requires expensive surgery.

I personally just started working and am still getting my bearings after being laid off and looking for work for 6 months. My younger brother was also laid off and is searching for work at the moment. Despite our savings, we were not prepared for a bill this high.
