Theo is a 4 year old American Shorthair in Cleveland, OH, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Urethrostomy.

I found Theo and his brother Simon on Craigslist.. they were living in a really bad home. I originally went to get his brother Simon but couldn’t leave Theo behind in the current living situation he was in. So I brought home two kitties that day.

Theo is suffering from a blockage in his bladder. We took him to the vet and they were able to unblock it but shortly after it became blocked again. If this blockage doesn’t go away, Theo will need a major surgery called a perineal urethrostomy. If Theo does not receive that surgery, the only other option is euthanasia. This surgery is beyond expensive for us during this time.

Theo has ALWAYS been there for me. I’m a recovering alcoholic and my cats have never left my side. They have been there with me through it all. Theo is ALWAYS at my feet. We recently had a baby girl who is 6 months now she he is so good with her. He’s apart of our family and I couldn’t imagine life without him due to financial issues.

I am currently a stay at home mom with our daughter, and my husband is providing financially for us alone. This life or death surgery for our Theo is really not in the budget.
