Rescued From Neglect, This Sweet Boy Needs Urgent Eye Care

This sweet boy was rescued from a heartbreaking situation, and now he urgently needs our help.

When we found Theo, it was clear he had been suffering for a long time. His eyes are severely infected, painful, and in desperate need of medical treatment. We don’t know how long he has been living in this condition, but the neglect he endured is impossible to ignore. Despite everything, he remains gentle, trusting, and incredibly sweet.

Right now, his biggest need is immediate veterinary care to treat his painful eye infection and determine the extent of the damage. In addition to emergency treatment for his eyes, he also needs full veterinary care, including vaccines, diagnostic testing, and heartworm testing to evaluate his overall health after prolonged neglect.

When Theo first came into our care, he was suffering from severe, painful eye infections caused by prolonged neglect. Thanks to veterinary treatment and the support of donors, he is now comfortable and no longer dealing with that pain.

While Theo is doing much better physically, he is still very shy and fearful of people. Thankfully, he now feels safe with our team and is beginning to settle into rescue life at his own pace.
