Thomas is a two year old Labrador mix in Fayetteville , NC, who needs $2,000 for emergency treatment.

Thomas was found wandering the streets, all alone and absolutely terrified. He had been abandoned by people and left to starve to death at just two years old. Northampton County Animal Shelter picked him up and placed him on a stray hold, but of course, nobody came to claim him.

Shortly after, Pet Angel Fund came across Thomas. When they heard about Thomas’ case, their hearts broke, and they knew they had to intervene. They picked him up and quickly got him the care he so desperately needed.

Thomas was timid at first and hesitant to interact with humans, understandably so since he had been betrayed by those he thought he could trust. The wonderful vet staff and rescue volunteers have shown him not all people are bad, and he has come out of his shell, slowly but surely. Turns out, he is a very loving and playful guy!

Thomas was taken to Animal Hospital of Fayetteville, where he is being treated for a few things, most issues stemming from being malnourished. He has developed slight anemia, hair and skin issues, severe diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration. He also has an ear infection.
