We got Thor as a baby. We have another Irish Wolfhound that is getting pretty old we wanted to get our 3 boys another Irish Wolfhound. My 5 year-old loves him so much he sleeps & plays with him all the time and will not leave his side. He rode 4 hours one way in the car just for his first consult so he could be with him for his appointment. Thor just wants to run & play so bad but he gets sore

When he was a puppy he jumped out of the truck & messed up his right leg. He had to have a surgery done right away for his growth plate so he could continue growing & now we are hopeful for one last surgery to get his leg straightened out to live his life to his fullest.

He is a gentle giant. Loves all of the attention he can get and lets kids crawl all over him. We live in a tiny town and all of our neighbors just dote on him. He perks right up as soon as anyone walks in the door and wants any and all attention. His best friends are our other wolfhound and our 3 boys.

This was a very unexpected major expense for our family. With 3 young boys on a fixed income makes it really hard to afford a second surgery but our boys love him so much anything helps at this point and we would love to get him back to happy and healthy.
