Thor is a 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Zephyrhills , FL, who needs $350 for Perineal Urethrostomy.

Thor came into my life when he was found by a former coworker that spotted Thor in the middle of a very busy intersection in Tampa, Fla where someone had dumped him. I seen him and new he had to be in my home. Thir is very smart and affectionate. He likes to chill on the porch and watch the birds and squirrels. He has been my emotional support for 5 years, I cannot imagine not having him here with

Thor has a routine, wakes me up at 6 am for breakfast and then goes out onto the porch where he likes to chill for hours. His sister, Amelia sometimes goes out to wake him up to play. These two are always together. He loves to lay with me on the couch while watching TV. If I am on my phone or computer he will jump up and demand attention.

I really can't explain the bond me and Thor have, it's just very strong and I would do anything for both of my cats. He loves to burrow under things, he thinks he is hiding from you. He is a gentle soul who deserves the best. I have never seen a brown & white Tuxedo cat, I guess that is why he is my special boy.

Thor has urinary blockages. I have tried everything from medication, supplements, and prescription food. He does ok for a little while, then he gets blocked so bad that I have to take him to the emergency vet where they can unblock him. He has had 7 blockages, 4 since February 2023. Now I am facing surgery ( Perineal Urethrostomy).

I am on a fixed income (Disability).
I have exhausted my savings to save him I know with this surgery, he will not be in any more pain. Thor is my life, as also his sister Amelia. I just want him back home with his family.
