Thunder is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Clinton, WA, who needs $2,000 for Femoral Head and Neck Osteotomy.

I found Thunder at my local animal shelter as a kitten, I picked him up he nestled into my chest and started purring and I fell in love with him immediately. Over the last year and a half the bond we’ve created is unmatched. He greets me with a meow at the door every day I come home, he sleeps on his pillow next to my head every night. He is my best friend.

Thunder has a condition called physeal dysplasia. 04/27 I came home from work and he was not at the door to greet me he wouldn’t get up and any time I tried to pick him up he cried loudly. I rushed him to veterinary emergency group where they did X-rays and found out both his growth plates in his hind legs where his femur connected to his hips fractured.

Thunder is an extremely talkative boy he will shout from wherever he is to find me in the house. He runs to the door every time I come home from being gone. Him and my other cat “Kat” are best friends they sit in the window watching the birds and chase eachother around the house at all hours. He walks around with his favorite Pom Pom or mouse when he wants to play and will even fetch his Pom poms!

I recently had to have unexpected dental work done costing me $3,000 this month, I make $30,000 a year with a plan to go back to school in the fall, I don’t have a partner so only one fixed income.
