Thunder is a 1-year-old Short hair in El Paso , TX, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to repair broken legs..

We found Thunder on 11/19/20 in hiding in our back patio. She has two broken legs and a fractured pelvis that makes it hard for her to urinate or poop. She can get around but she drags her legs. But since we brought her inside our home we have tried our best to keep her still so no further damage is done. We were told we can euthanize her, but we couldn’t give up on her.

We want nothing more to get Thunder the medical care she needs. Our family is ready to give Thunder a permanent forever home where she will receive all the love possible . She would be entering a home with a big family and lots of pets 4 adults and 2 teenagers and a 10 year old. She will also have 2 cat sisters and 3 doggy brothers. We just want Thunder to be back home with us ❤️

I am a stay at home mom that homeschools my 3 youngest children. We live off a fixed income since my husband is the only one that works. Thunder deserves a forever home and love. No animal should be alone on the street. She needs us as much as we need her in our family.

She has 2 broken legs and a fracture of the pelvis and as of right now don’t know how much damage was done to the spine. She can’t poop on her own and is not fully emptying out her bladder. She had to stay for 24 hour care 11/24/20 so that medications can be given and hopefully some of the inflammation can go down. She was seen at Far East Animal Care Center being treated by Dr . Rojas.

Words can’t express why Thunder is special to us. She came into our patio with all the strength that she had and didn’t give up. She’s a fighter and you can see in her little face that she knows we love her even in just a few days. I can’t wait to hold our sweet girl. She loves to be cuddled something she may have never experienced. We want to be that for Thunder.
