Thunder is a 6 year old American Shorthair in New York , NY, who needs $3,000 for X-Rays and Tests.

During COVID, my family went to a shelter to find a kitten for me and my sister. I found Thunder who was so playful and very tiny, she was three months old when we got her from the shelter, she was so tiny, I knew she was the one, she purred so loudly like thunder in the sky. She was so happy and comfortable with me. From then on she has been my best friend and my everything

I'm currently a working student, I can't afford vet care since i'm part-time and paying for school myself. I need to get her X-rays since she is still limping after two months on pain meds. She isn't getting worse but is still hurting and I don't know if there is anything else I can do. I went to New York Cat Hospital but there X-ray prices and other tests including treatment was too expensive.

She is special because of the bond we share, she isn't as friendly unless it's food time or she wants treats, she only is vocal when she wants love or food lol and I love that she always feel safe with me at night

It would mean the world to me to help her and for her to be able to run around with zoomies and play again, she is a very active cat and loves to play and hunt. I would be overjoyed to see her be happy and simulated again.
