TicTac is a 2-year-old Ragdoll in Fargo, ND, who needs $2,000 for Thoracic Duct Ligation.

TicTac was a stray that Circle of Friends Animal Shelter took in and I adopted for my son June of 2020. We had just said goodbye to his previous companion, who we only had for a year, in April 2020.
My son is an only child and TicTac is his buddy. Their personalities are perfect for each other!
TicTac brings a good mix of spunk and gentleness to my home and he’s a very adored furbaby.

TicTac loves feathers! His favorite are peacock feathers and, as a house cat, he gets daily exercise by chasing and punching on them as my son dangles them and drags them around our home for him. TicTac also loves his ball toy and has entertained many on his Instagram page with his twists and turns while making the ball go around and round.

TicTac is a cuddle bug. He enjoys being carried around the house and loves being held close while I dance around with him. He’s always right next to us, hanging out and every once in awhile, he will chat with us in his sweet ragdoll voice. We were surprised to find out that TicTac likes to play catch. He will run after little balls and carry them back in his mouth. He’s sweet, active, and loving.

TicTac had a coughing episode the evening of February 1 but he seemed fine after. He visited the vet the next day who discovered his chest cavity had a lot of fluid. He was referred to Red River Animal Emergency Hospital. After some testing, imaging, and a lung tap it was determined that he has idepathoc Chylothorax. This is cured by surgery to have thoracic duct ligation. Surgeon is 4 hours away

Having TicTac healthy means everything as he’s my sons companion. It really wasn’t that long ago that I had to put the previous one down. Considering TicTacs age and the expected outcome of this surgery, we would get to have more time with him and would be so grateful.
