Tiger is a 6-year-old Domestic Short Hair Cat in Marina Del Rey, CA, who needs $1,390 for Dental Extraction Surgery with Bloodwork.

Tiger was adopted from cat rescue Luxe Paws in June 2019. He had been TNR (trap, neutered and released)the year prior. He was spotted by Luxe Paws as a previous rescue because of his ear tip. When Tiger was spotted for the second time he was near death from a dog attack. He was given necessary medical treatment and was in foster care. We saw him posted on Luxe Paws and brought him home.

Tiger is 1 of 3 ginger rescue kitties we have. After my son’s father passed away from cancer in 2018 we have adopted 3 fur babies from Luxe Paws. They sleep together with my son and provide comfort and joy to both of us.

Tiger loves his food and makes sweet mewing sounds when it’s meal time. He’s a chunky boy and never misses a meal. From the year he spent on the streets in downtown LA not knowing where his next meal was coming from he appreciates regular meal time and churu treats.

Tiger needs to have dental surgery to remove teeth that are dissolving. The vet says he is in a lot of pain. There are lesions in his mouth causing pain and drooling. Dr Edstrom at Animal Welleness Center is treating him. Tiger has asthma also and I give him an inhaler 2x/day to manage it.

I’m a single mom after my son’s dad passed 6 years ago. I’m able to scrape together enough for Tigers asthma inhaler, but can’t afford his dental surgery. Tiger brings so much joy to our home that is terrible watching him suffer and be in pain.
