Tigger is a 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat in Orlando, FL, who needs $1,600 for femoral head ostectomy surgery.

I rescued Tigger from Orange County , FL shelter and Tigger got his paw through the cage and pawed me twice really fast which made me notice him. I saw his cage with a sign on it saying "Handler Required". I was thrown off being a cat lover why something like this was posted. Handler came, and I got to pet him and hold him. Didn't see any issues, I later found out his passion for biting fingers which is something he learned really young but it's not too hard. I put up with it, but not nearly as bad now as prior.

Tigger relaxes me, keeps me laughing and calms me at night and forces me to take breaks. Sometimes when I come home he stretches out with his 2 front legs as if to reach me or asking me to pick him up. My neighbor likes him for killing the rodents in his yard and my dog we used to have him and Tigger were buddies. He would chase Leo and Leo would circle him while Tigger pawed/scratched his back for him. Funniest thing ever.

Tigger has his ways and we understand one another, he has his moments of pouting like a 4 yr old knocking stuff down when he doesn't get his way. He lets it be known like now with his bad leg, he is mad at me for not letting him outside. Doesn't change the fact I still love him. Regardless of how much he interrupts me typing, and sprawling out on the computer desk to divert me from typing.

My wife and Tigger have this love hate relationship lol. Tigger gets jealous and will pounce on top of her after hugging and try to make this dominance stance. But she loves him, and he is a traitor when I am not home. Text messages to prove it.

Tigger got his name when I got home after picking him up, all he would do is jump and pounce on everything. In the yard when I introduced him to the harness, he wouldn't walk, just pounce through the entire yard. In the house, its how far and how much jumping until I get tired. It's the craziest thing.
