About this campaign
"Neighbors reported Tillie ate a rug a week ago and had not been able to eat or drink since," Heather A., with One By One Animal Advocates, tells Waggle. "She was lethargic and alarmingly emaciated. We didn't have the funds available but knew if we delayed medical care, the dog would die."
Heather decided to leap and hoped the net would appear. They raced Tillie to the animal hospital, where she needed immediate surgery to remove the rug from her digestive system. But Tillie is still hospitalized in critical condition, and her future is dicey right now.
One By One Animal Advocates needs financial help to save Tillie's life and pay her substantial medical bill.
"Tillie has come so far but still has so many obstacles, Heather says. "We are deeply grateful for anyone who can give. Nothing is certain other than Tillie is loved, and everything possible will be done to save her."
