Timber is a 4-year-old Awesome Cat in Indian Trail, NC, who needs $800 for Urinary Blockage.

Timber came running down the street during a hurricane last year. He took advantage of my garage door being opened and wouldn't leave. We thought he was a pregnant female and nicknamed him/her Serafina. He was mistreated, scared, and someone had shaved parts of his body! He wouldn't let us near until very cold days in January when he finally ventured inside a few minutes at a time. Slowly trusting

Once we learned Serafina was a male, he gained his name, Timber. Timber-nimber when he's being silly. Prefers human beds.
He's very affectionate and always allows pets. Never turned down a cuddle. He's tolerant and gentle with our little boys and never bites or scratches. He's a huge boy, but scared of other cats. Timber wants to be with his humans, but still likes to venture outside at night.

Timber is unique in that he is so grateful. He's very tolerant of our little toddlers. He never scratches or bites and lets the little boys play with him. He's helped my daughter through emotional difficulties and cope with her past traumas. He's always there for her and most often found in her bed. He's usually asleep on her bed when she gets home from school. They read together and cuddle daily.

Timber has been strong and healthy since getting rid of his parasites, but unknown medical history. Guessing he's about 4yrs old. Healthy teeth, coat, skin, bright eyes. Seemed strong and 100% until sudden change in past 48 hrs. Stopped eating/ began urinating on himself- won't move except to be held by his humans. He wants to be close and is crying in pain. He's scared and want us to hold him.

I have a fixed income so we have not adopted any pets, but Timber chose us to protect him...and we've done what we could for him: food, flea and worm meds, and a safe space with lots of love. He's helped my daughter through difficult times and we need to help him now.
