Help Timmy Fight for His Life

Timmy was found abandoned at an industrial site, alone, vulnerable, and in heartbreaking condition. When rescuers from Pumpkin’s Rescue Club found him, it was clear that this sweet cat desperately needed medical attention. He was rushed straight to an emergency veterinary hospital, where he has remained hospitalized as the veterinary team works around the clock to save his life.

Timmy’s condition is extremely serious, and right now, there are still more questions than answers. His veterinarians are concerned that he could be suffering from diabetes and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), sepsis, pancreatitis, or potentially a combination of these devastating conditions. His glucose levels have improved with treatment, but Timmy remains incredibly weak. His organs are enlarged, and he is currently so debilitated that he cannot even bear weight on his legs.

For now, his veterinary team is continuing to treat him for DKA while they work to determine exactly what is happening inside his fragile body. Every hour matters as they monitor his condition, provide supportive care, and try to get his systems stabilized.

It is impossible to know what Timmy endured before he was found at that industrial site. What we do know is that he was abandoned when he was already desperately sick—and now he needs someone to fight for him.

Pumpkin’s Rescue Club is doing everything possible to give Timmy that chance, but his emergency hospitalization, testing, medications, and ongoing intensive care are quickly adding up.
