Everyone says we have a soulmate.. well, before I found my human soulmate, I found my Tink - my soulmate of a puppy. She's been my little shadow since the day I got her.. and the coolest part about it is that she found me even before I found her. In a litter of chihuahua puppies, this small little blonde baby with her tongue permanently stuck out, walked right over to me - while all of the others were playing and trying to get my attention she just sat right in front of me and looked up at me. Ever since that moment, she's been my whole entire world. Through nursing school, through heartbreak, through moving away from my family, through every up and down that life has thrown at me - she's been right beside me. I thought she needed me, that I was giving her a home and love and.. it turns out that I was needing her. I still need her. Every single day. She's my little sunshine, the small little 3.4 lbs of love and chihuahua-shivers that I look forward to lovin' on every single morning.. for 7 years now. She makes not only my life better, she makes me better. Her sweet little eyes and the feeling of her in my lap can make everything in this chaotic world disappear right then and there.
