About this campaign
Tinker Bell can't walk because she is in so much pain. When it's time to go potty Jane W., Tinker Bell's human mom, has to carry her in and out of the house. The adorable dog can't have fun with her furbaby brother and sisters, "I sometimes cry because she wants to play with them and is not able to do so," Jane tells Waggle. "Sometimes she lets out a little bark as if to say 'come play with me,' but she can only watch them."
But you can help Tinker Bell walk again! The tiny pooch has a big but fixable problem: She tore her cruciate ligaments (similar to a human ACL) in both her knees and needs surgery to fix them.
And Jane also has a big but fixable problem: She can't afford Tinker Bell's operation and needs to raise the money for the procedure. "I am a disabled senior citizen and only receive a small disability check each month," Jane says. "I have no human family, but I am so thankful to have my furbaby family. They are my children. It would be such a gift and miracle for Tinky to be able to walk, run, and play."
Jane adopted Tinker Bell from a rescue group seven years ago, and the two have become so attached. She sleeps in bed with Jane and is always by her side. Not being able to help Tinker Bell because of financial reasons has been terrible for both Jane and Tinker Bell.
"Tinker Bell can only drag herself a short distance," Jane adds. "A doggie wheelchair and medications have not helped. She needs the surgery ASAP, or she will get worse. I love my little girl so much. She is my princess."
Can you help Tinker Bell get back on both feet again?
