Tinkerbell Persephone is a 15 year old American Shorthair in Granger, IN, who needs $425 for Blood Pressure Check, Blood Work, and Tech Appt.

It was love at first sight when I discovered Tinkerbell’s photo on the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue site in 2012. We’ve been together ever since. Tinkerbell is the name that KAR gave her, and as it is so fitting for her, as she has a tendency at times to both traipse and flit about. Unlike her sister, she has no devilry in her and has not once misbehaved in the time that we’ve been together.

Presently, she is a patient of Magrane Pet Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. She has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, but so far that disease is in a non-worrisome part of her heart. She has inflammatory bowel, but her last intestinal scan showed no worsening. She has high blood pressure and needs it checked again. And she’s having some symptoms that could indicate a thyroid or other problem.

Like I said, she is extremely pure of heart. And she is beyond sweet. Sometimes she sleeps with me throughout the night, and we always have love time each morning when I’m drinking my coffee. (Please note that she also needs blood work.)

I recently lost my only source of income and have disabling neurological problems. I have to relocate for medical reasons, and so far the job I’ve found is very part-time and doesn’t pay until the end of the month. Social Security Disability is going to take six months.
