About this campaign

Tiny Tina and her six siblings should be spending their days discovering the world, playing with one another, and growing into the cats they're meant to be. Instead, these seven little kittens are facing a dangerous illness, and some of them need intensive medical care just to have a chance at surviving.

When Murdock's Mission took these kittens in from the streets, they knew the risks. In Texas, panleukopenia is an ever-present threat to vulnerable kittens. But knowing the risk doesn't make it any easier when the diagnosis comes.

Tiny Tina and her siblings have tested positive for panleukopenia, a highly contagious and potentially deadly virus that can be especially devastating for young kittens.

Panleukopenia attacks rapidly dividing cells, including those in the intestinal tract and bone marrow. It can cause severe gastrointestinal illness, dehydration, and dangerously low white blood cell counts, leaving kittens vulnerable to serious complications. They can deteriorate quickly, making prompt veterinary treatment and supportive care critical to their chances of survival.

Three of the seven kittens became so ill that they needed hospitalization. They were admitted for intensive care, connected to monitoring equipment, and started on multiple medications to help them fight the infection.

These are tiny, fragile lives, and the cost of saving them adds up quickly. Murdock's Mission estimates that each hospitalized kitten could require $1,000 or more in veterinary care by the time treatment is complete. With three kittens needing hospitalization, the medical expenses could reach thousands of dollars, and the entire litter still needs careful attention.

It's an overwhelming amount for a rescue to take on, but these babies deserve the chance to fight.

Will you help Murdock's Mission give Tiny Tina and her siblings the care they need to survive?

Taking in kittens from the streets always comes with risks, but leaving them there was never an option. By bringing these little ones into care, Murdock's Mission gave them access to treatment they might not otherwise have received. Now, the rescue needs help covering the cost of that lifesaving care.

Your donation will help with the kittens' veterinary expenses, including hospitalization, medications, and supportive treatment. Every contribution helps ease the financial burden and gives this litter a better chance at making it through this frightening illness.

Tiny Tina and her siblings have so much life ahead of them. They deserve the opportunity to recover, grow stronger, and eventually enjoy the happy kittenhood they should have had from the beginning.

Please donate if you can, and share their story if you're unable to give. Every donation and share helps Murdock's Mission continue fighting for these precious little lives.

Thank you for standing with Tiny Tina, her siblings, and the rescue working so hard to save them. ❤️
