About this campaign
Our baby came into our life 10 years ago from an animal shelter. She is one of the most loving and affectionate dogs we have ever met. She is our protector and always shows emotional support in the time of need. My husband died in 2012 and she was my rock during that time. As she can sense when someone is sad. She snuggles and provides comfort. She has never really been in a cage and lives in home
She loves to sleep near the door to notify us when we have guest or anyone is near our home. She loves nearly anyone she meets or comes into contact with. If you were to meet her nearly everyone loves her. She doesn't like to sleep by herself and always sleeps near the couch or bed. She provides the best hugs and snuggles.
Due to the pandemic and job hours cut we don't have any extra funds to support our baby. To have our baby back to normal again would mean the world. To see her declining and no longer able to easily use the bathroom or eat is heartbreaking. She seems so helpless.
She has been diagnosed with a mammory tumor in one of her nipples. She was seen at the Michigan State University Veterinary Medical Center with William Chung. It is nearly the size of a mini basketball. She is not able to move around due to it. It is starting to burst and needs to be removed. That is the procedure needed.
Our baby is special because she can communicate very well without actually saying anything. She can sense emotion and mood and help to turn a bad day into a good one. Without her love and support there are times that I don't know if we would of made it through. When she wags her tail and slides across the floor she provides comedy for the family. She snuggles under covers as if she is human.
