Titan is a 1 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Battle Creek, MI, who needs $2,750 for Swivelock Procedure.

Titan came into our life as a puppy, in October 2024 and he is a big part of our family now. My daughter picked the name Titan and it fits him so well as he can be rambunctious as a 1.5 year-old pit-bull mix. He enjoys playing with the cat as well as my 6 yr old pit-bull. Titan would keep them both busy up until he tore his ACL in both back legs.. he is in constant pain, the pain meds dont help.

Titan tore his ACL in his back left leg little over two weeks ago so he was putting all of his weight on the other leg and last weekend he wouldn’t come in from outside and he couldn’t stand up to put any weight on either of his legs, he tore the ACL in his right leg as well. To keep from him being in constant pain and not able to move around freely or easily he needs to have surgery asap.

Titan is very lovable, and when he’s feeling well can be very hyper since he is only 1.5 years old. He likes to go for walks, run around in the backyard and play tug-of-war with my other dog, but he’s not able to do any of these things like he used to and it breaks my heart to see him having to just lay around and to be caged during the day while I’m at work so he doesn’t hurt himself even more.

I am in a financial strain where I cannot afford to pay almost $2700 for just one leg to be repaired and I’m trying to get that one started as soon as possible. I won’t be able to do the other leg for 4 to 6 months so I would have time to start saving for that surgery.
