About this campaign
I first saw Tito on Oakland County Animal Shelter's Facebook page. He had been at the shelter for 346 days. Two months after he was surrendered, his previous owners walked right past him to look for another dog to adopt. I cannot even imagine how he felt.
The day that I saw him, I told my brother "I am just going to meet him." My brother new better that day, and told me he would see me and the dog
Tito has been diagnosed with terminal bone cancer. We are seeking funds to help pay for an amputation and chemotherapy. The amputation is for pain management and the chemotherapy is to prolong his life.
Tito is the best thing I have ever done. He is gentle with kids, and is very toy driven. He loves to play. He is also the pickiest dog I have ever had. If it is anything except meat or cheese, he will not eat it. He is so happy when I get home from work. And he is very strict about his 9:30pm bed time.
I am the only income. Like many Millennials, my savings has been depleted by student loan payments and living expenses. Any little bit of help will help me keep my best buddy comfortable for just a little longer. He doesn't even realize he is sick. He just wants to play.
