Titus is a 3 year old German Shepherd Dog in Rapid City, SD, who needs $3,000 for Testing and Treatment for Possible Poison Ingestion.

Titus came into my life when I adopted him at 8 weeks old. My son-in-law named him Titus from the Bible. We saw a post online for a single puppy up for adoption. We drove that night from East Tennessee all the way to Memphis to pick him up.

Titus has always had a neck for getting himself into trouble. Recently he started pooping blood clots only. Up until last night he has still been very energetic and playful. I spoke to a vet tech and with his symptoms she thinks he has gotten a hold of something poisonous. He loves to eat grass and pull leaves off of trees. We're thinking maybe it was a pesticide.

Titus is the life of the family. He is wonderful with my grandchildren. He is a cuddle bug and he always dives on me when we're in bed and rubs his head into my chest for me to pet him. He loves to sleep with his head in my lap. He's a very important part of the family to everyone. And his companion. Now this is 3 years old and he's so energetic he still acts like a puppy. We love that about him!

I am from East Tennessee. My health started failing. So I had to move to South Dakota to live with my daughter. I have congestive heart failure. I am waiting for disability and have no income at all right now. And my daughter's finances are stretched caring for me.
