Hello, Titus' story begins back in Ohio. He came to my home by way of the Capital Area Humane Society. The previous owners left him behind when their house burnt down. At the time I was in a relationship that ended and we made the cross country trip to California. He and I have been thru some of the hardest times in my life.

Titus gets along with most people and is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He was raised around children the whole first year we had him. However, he is a very protective dog over his owner and close family. He is extremely charming and wins over kost people within minutes. I'm embarrassed to admit I become jealous of how many compliments he receives when were outdoors.

The reason I'm asking for financial help in a COVID-19 economy is because I recently was homeless for 9 months. At one point I fractured my ankle and this required 3 plates and 12 screws. One situation after another began compounding and he and I became homeless. Not homlessnow

Currently he has a growth underneath his toenail. This is going to require surgery and labs to see if its cancerous. The vet could not tell exactly what this growth was but it needs to be removed so that the new nail can grow back in healthy. He would be treated by the Thrive Clinic in La Mesa which is connected to the Petco.

Titus is special because he has a huge heart. This dog could be taken into a children's hospital for the children to pet and play with. He is a rare blend of charm and docile and is great with children. Its actually my hope to one day have him certified to go into these hospitals to give those children hope and joy.
