Tobey is a 9-year-old Australian Cattle Mix in Memphis, TN, who needs $1,200 for TPLO.

We got Tobey 9 years ago from a rescue group here in Memphis. He was six weeks old and had been found with his mom in a park. That's where he gets his name from:)
He lives in our home. When we first got him there were 7 people at home, but now we are down to 3. We have a large backyard that he loves to run around in. He loves the couch and the bed to snuggle in and really is low maintenance

Tobey loves everyone. He can be skittish at times, but warms up very quickly. He is very protective of his people.

At night, Tobey sleeps on his parents bed.
He definitely understands things we say, especially the word "treat".
He loves chicken and macaroni and cheese. He loves running around the backyard and chasing squirrels

Tobey is very particular about his treats. He only like puparoni sticks. He will only take meds with deli meat or cheese and knows how to get more treats if he wants them. He does love his mom the most and is very protective of her.

2 weeks ago Tobey was running around the backyard and coming around a corner, his leg got caught on something and he torn his CCL(human ACL).
He will not bear weight on his back leg and is limping around the house. He will go out and play a little, but he gets worn out easily having to only use 3 legs. He is currently not in pain, but if he doesn't have surgery, he will develop painful arthritis

We recently incurred a large amount of debt from making a wedding for our child and adding onto our home. We were not expecting this to happen and it would really mean a lot to us to be able to see Tobey happy and healthy again
