About this campaign
Our cats name is Tobi / Obito (from Naruto), but his other nicknames are sometimes Tobias or Mr.Chongus. He is a 10-pound tabby who was adopted as a bonded pair along with his brother Jeri (short for Jiraiya) on June 9th, 2022.
He is a very happy boy with owners who love him very much, and provide him with a wet food diet, multiple water bowls, fountains, plenty of scratchers, climbing poles, and lots of very comfy beds to lay around and watch the birds with his brother.
Tobi is the silent/ loving type of cat. He is very sneaky and likes to get into mischievous situations with his brother Jeri (the reason we have baby locks on our cabinets), but is always ready for cuddle puddles. While not as talkative as his counterpart he is very expressive in his own way. He is always the first one in the bed ready and waiting for cuddles and attention.
Tobi is not able to pee on his own anymore. The Parkersburg Veterinary Hospital, Belpre Animal Clinic, and MedVet have explained that he has a smaller than average urethra, stones, and infection. These compounded complications have determined that he needs Perineal Urethros Surgery. If he does not receive treatment he will die of electrolyte abnormalities, kidney failure, and bladder rupture.
With over five thousand dollars in vet bills already, we are not able to pay for his surgery on our own. These cats are our life as we are not able to have children of our own, they are our babies and it would mean the world to us and his brother for him to live another day.
