Tobi Wan Kenobi is a sweet but rambunctious one year old Shih Tzu puppy who came into mine and my husbands lives in June of 2025 after we bought our first home! My husband and I are both school teachers and had agreed for years that once we bought our first house that we could get a puppy and train him during the summer! He is always smiling and we love seeing his smiling face when we get home!

My husband and I were out at a relatives wedding for 3 days while Tobi stayed with family and came back to him having no appetite, not wanting to stand up, walk, or even lift his head. We also noticed some grunts as he took shallow breaths so we took him to our vet who then referred us to a specialist for a long torsion with will require emergency surgery to remove part of his lung.

Our Tobi has always been a smart little guy! From day one he waited at our back door to go potty! He’s very emotionally intelligent and I’ll bring him up to school every so often when my fellow teachers and school counselors always beg me to get him Therapy dog certified because he’s great with the kids, sits quietly in meetings, and just loves everyone, especially babies! We can’t lose cuddle bug

These expenses are extremely sudden for my husband and I and we are already working out to see what we can would be able to cover but are needing help. No one plans on their baby going through this, but especially not so young! He has a full life ahead of him.
