In 2021, I was living alone for the first time far away from home. I had begun to feel very lonely and found myself in the local shelter one random Tuesday. With no intentions of bringing home a cat that day, I immediately fell in love with my boy the second I saw him. He quite literally saved my life and has been the other half of me ever since. We adopted his brother in 2023 and it’s been great.

A few months ago, Toby was diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis which causes chronic obstruction in his urethra which requires immediate care. He’s been hospitalized 3 times and is currently admitted at BluePearl and will require surgery to hopefully prevent anymore blockages.

Toby is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He turns every dog person into a cat person the second they meet him. He’s so kind and gentle and loving. He's the biggest cuddler and gives the best hugs. He loves to eat and loves to watch the birds in the feeder outside the window. He loves toys with feathers and going for walks outside in his stroller alongside his brother.

Toby has been admitted 3 times in 4 months and is now having surgery. With that comes extensive medical bills which have all piled up at once. It’s just us and I’ve been doing the best I can, but it’s all been very overwhelming.
