About this campaign

Toby is an indoor cat who came into my life as a surprise gift from my father, and we have been together for 10 wonderful years. I named him Toby because it felt natural for a tabby cat. He first came home in a red Beats bag looking like a tiny speck of dust and covered in fleas. Since then, he has become one of the biggest sources of comfort and companionship in my life.

My cat is a recently diagnosed diabetic. After giving him his first dose of Bexacat, he stopped eating and became very lethargic. According to his vet, he was in diabetic ketoacidosis. This is fatal and if he doesn't get hospitalized immediately he will die. We are looking to treat him at schwarzman animal medical center in New York City. After the hospital, he will have to be treated for diabetes

Toby is so sweet and chill. He likes to do his own thing. However, he also loves to cuddle. When he's tired, your arm or chest is his favorite pillow. He follows us from room to room, curls up beside us whenever we’re sad, and always knows how to make us laugh with his playful personality. He is my soul cat. He makes every day feel lighter, and our home would not feel the same without him.

Toby is family, and seeing him become critically ill so suddenly has been beyond devastating. We are facing overwhelming emergency hospitalization costs just to give him a chance to recover. Any support would help save his life and bring our sweet boy back healthy again.
