About this campaign
Today came to me as a foster kitty when he was about 5 months old. He was so shy and the foster coordinator knew that he was a special case and we could help him. He overcame his fears in a few days and became the best kitty ever.
Tod has hyperthyroidism and pills haven't been helping. He's extremely thin and has chronic diarrhea. I am hoping to get him a treatment to cure his hypothyroidism at OC Advanced Veterinary Medical Imaging. The vast majority of cats with hyperthyroidism will be cured with a radioiodine treatment.
Tod has always been the sweetest kitty. He loves the kids and always wants to be involved in what they are doing. He is so sweet and whenever he is near he reaches out to touch my arm. In his elder years he's become a mentor to foster kittens and treats them like his own. He helps kittens who are fearful and makes them come out of their shell. He has been a constant companion.
Even with a new job I got specifically to raise the funds to help Tod, I've been bombarded with overdue bills. I want to see the brightness in Tod's eyes again. I can tell he is trying to carry on with a good kitty attitude but he isn't feeling his best.
