Toki was given to me when he was a puppy as a gift from my mother just a few years before she passed away. He has been with me through multiple moves, breakups, and difficult times. Toki is my registered emotional support animal. I honestly do not know what I would do without him. Just looking at him makes me happy.

I live alone, and Toki is my companion. I also adopted my mother's dog, Maia, when she passed away, but she isn't a true companion animal. Toki absolutely adores Maia, but she would have preferred to stay an only child! Toki helps me when I am feeling anxious or depressed. He knows when I need his support and seeks me out to help calm me down.

Toki is extremely affectionate. He loves giving kisses and receiving pets and cuddles. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. He is a very happy dog. He has the cutest floppy ears and an undeniable spark of life behind his eyes. He is the most unique dog I have ever known. I wasn't able to have children of my own, but Toki is my eternal toddler and I am grateful to have him in my life.

Toki has a bladder stone that needs to be removed surgically, as it is too large to be passed and the type that cannot be broken down by diet. He also needs several teeth extracted. Toki has a heart murmur and elevated liver enzymes, so the vet has ordered over $2,000 worth of tests before proceeding with the surgery which will also be around $2,000.

In the last two months, Toki has incurred more than $3,000 worth of vet expenses. In total, the cost will be $7,200 for treatment. I am self-employed and actively seeking more work, but I do not have the funds required for his expenses at this time.
