Tokyo is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Robbinsdale, MN, who needs $1,500 for Foreign Body Removal Surgery.

Tokyo came into our family in 2021, when she was introduced to my son as a rescue and they were instantly attached to each other. My son invited me over to meet her, and when I opened the door she came running to me, jumped on me and started licking my hand. When our eyes locked, I was in love.
In 2023 my son was in transition and he asked me to care for her; she has been living with me for 1 year

On April 16 she became very ill, vomiting over 10 times in a 24 hr period. Fear of her becoming dehydrated I took her into the vet for urgent care on Wednesday, where they did xrays and found a dried piece of corn cob lodged near her pancreas. One more day without emergency surgery and she would've died. She did receive surgery at Access Vet Care, but we need help with her surgery expenses.

She is a quiet dog but full of energy, very obedient and well mannered. By the way she's a master manipulator, knowing how to use her eyes to get what she wants. That's what's so loveable about her! She is very smart to find other ways to communicate, and that's what makes her special to us. I cannot imagine our lives without her!!

I'm currently in transition of employment andthis was an unexpected expense. We are trying to raise funds to pay for her surgery so she came come home to us again. She is a joy to us and is a companion to my 14 year old son who is healing from severe anxiety.
