Tonka is a 3-month-old Corgi in San Jose, CA, who needs $2,000 for CT scan, dental work and surgery .

Tonka is new to the family and has been with us for 6 weeks now. He is 3 months old. He loves to chase our 2 cats Louis and Lestat around the house. (Although, I know they don't like it too much.) When he's not running in circles or being a goofball he's chewing on a toy or having a blast running in the yard!

Tonka has been a loving addition to our family. He is our little shadow! He loves to hang out at family BBQs and get togethers. Watching his daily routines puts a smile on your face. Watching him yawn in the morning to walking laps around the pool for exercise. Watching him play with his squeek toys is so entertaining you can't stop laughing!

We would be eternally grateful! No one thinks this is going to happen as soon as you get your puppy. During these hard times with unemployment and Covid we are struggling to find funds or get approved for a loan. Hopefully we can work really hard to raise enough for surgery.

Tonka was bitten by a large dog. his neck was pierced and his mandible was fractured and there was damage to his baby teeth that will cause damage to the adult teeth coming in. We need to get a CT scan to see all the damage. The vet we work with is VCA Orchard Plaza in San Jose, CA. They strongly suggested we find a surgeon or dental expert to look at Tonka too.

Like I said Tonka is our little shadow. He loves being with us 24/7! Other than playing with his favorite toy, Lambchop, he's usually waiting for food time! He's such a dork! He loves the smell of chicken nuggets! He'll run in circles for 5 minutes. We have to tell him sorry bud that's people food but you can have a puppy treat. When he gets really excited he'll talk to us saying "Chase me!"
