I lost my precious Floki last year suddenly and I wasn’t planning on getting another cat until I realized how lonely my dog was without a best friend. I saw Torvi at the shelter but she looked too similar to Floki so I walked past her but she reached her little paw out and chose me herself. We’ve been inseparable since, she’s my soulmate cat.

Torvi is FELV+ and has been diagnosed with Lymphoma by Mizzou Veterinary Center in Wentzville, MO. We are proceeding with chemotherapy treatment to see if we can’t extend her life, she is only two years old and spunky as all get out.

Torvi is the sweetest, most loving cat I’ve ever met. She absolutely loves her best canine friend, sleeps under the covers with me whether it’s a blanket on the couch or comforter in bed. Always has to be touching either me or Ingrid (the dog). She’s so codependent, does not like to be left alone. Absolute cuddle bug. She also has a squirrel friend who visits my porch daily to see her.

I live alone on a single income and although I’ve been able to support her thus far my funds are running out and CareCredit maxed. She’s doing so well I don’t want to quit yet just because of money.
