About this campaign

I adopted Toulouse just over a year ago from a friend of a friend. She lives with me, my roommates, and her cat-boyfriend Gummo and brightens up our lives every single day. I named her for the feisty orange kitten from the Aristocats, a movie my mom and I loved to watch together growing up.

Toulouse has been struggling with recurrent vomiting for the past two months now. The diagnostic process for the cause of this has been tumultuous and expensive. I have been taking her to Temple Terrace animal hospital, which is AHAA accredited, to make sure that she is receiving the highest standard of care, but unfortunately it is not cheap.

Toulouse loves to meet new people and receive all manner of love and attention, especially when greeting us at the door or climbing onto our shoulders. She is by far the friendliest, quirkiest cat I have ever met. She knows no strangers, only friends new and old.

I am a full-time student who is almost completely financially independent from my family. Toulouse is a registered ESA and my reason to keep pushing forward. I struggle to make ends meet as it is, so being rid of this financial burden would be a blessing.
