Trigger is a 7-year-old Mixed Pit Bull/Great Dane in Kingston, MA, who needs $2,000 for Wound Debridement with amputation of Left Leg.

Tasha found Trigger at a shelter. He was wandering the streets, had health issues and was undernourished. She was visiting him waiting for him to be healthy enough to leave. That took a bit. It also took a bit for her to convince us to have him join us. He made it to our home and brought brightness into Tasha’s life like no one else has ever been able to do and became the glue of our family

Favorites: swimming, hiking and of course cuddling with mom. Very active. Took him on a family vacation to a Maine lake house last year. There were paddleboards. Trigger soon loved paddle boarding. Sitting proud on the board with mom navigating. He loved it so much that he would not stop. One day when we were done he turned around and went back to pull the board in the water. He wasn’t done!

Not enough space to describe Trigger. So many stories, our daughter’s soul mate, the best dog ever. We forget he is a dog, having conversations with him and he talks back, planning vacations around him. He knows when you are sad, when you need a kiss. He loves cuddling and sleeping with mom, having the blankets wrapped around him just so. Not an early riser, loves to sleep in.

Tasha & Trigger in an accident. Trigger ejected despite restraints. Out of state working. Taken to clinic: stopped bleeding, stitches. Multiple wounds, left leg degloved. Next day knew something wrong. Taken to hospital, stayed overnight. Wounds when stitched not cleaned out, infection set in. Home to Mass.to another hospital. Neurological and heart issues. Plan: save leg but couldn’t

Means everything to have Trigger. No question what he needed he would get. We owed him for what he has given us. Strain to pay these bills. Tasha just beginning her career. Pandemic sidelined her for a bit. Her father has cancer & disabled. I can only work limited basis
