Trivette is an 8-year-old Labrador mix in Mountain Grove, MO, who needs $1,500 for TPLO.

Trivette became a part of my life when my nephew was in crisis from PTSD from serving in Afghanistan. I took him to save him and my nephew, but he wound up staying (my nephew is ok too!). We both have anxiety and help each other a lot. The universe knew I would need Trivette. I lost my baby dog Buster to traumatic seizures when he was only 5yrs old! Trivette pulled me through the grief. He saved my life.

Losing Buster 2 yrs ago, and Sampson my 14 yr old lab mix just 3 weeks ago, Trivette is now my sole companion, but was what I would say was the middle child in the pack.Always peaceable, always happy, and sweet doesn't even begin to describe Trivette! He doesn't know a stranger 2 or 4 legged people in the State Parks and boat docks greet him before me he is so well known and loved! He is a Gentleman.

Trivette loves fetch, especially when it involves water, we are both water lovers, fishing, hiking, kayaking, boating, roadtripping. Trivette always makes it clear that his day has not been "good" until I walk in the door after work, we are now each other's whole world. He is silly and goofy, and so loving. Always ready for adventure, life is nothing when we are not together or without adventures!

Spring Park Animal Hospital in Mountain Home Arkansas, Dr. Smith was to schedule Trivette right away for this surgery. Trivette tore his ACL and can't walk now on that leg. For Trivette to not have full mobility is just not a life for him. Even now while hurting and struggling he is always ready to go, but we can't. He will never be a happy dog having to be just a house dog. Mentally it will kill him.

I am asking for help because this just totally blindsided us. After recent medical bills with my old retriever Sampson and having to say goodbye. I just don't have enough reserve leftover. The surgery is $3000, I have $1500, surgery is Friday! I am desperate to help my pup!
