Poor Trixie found herself at a local high kill shelter in Amarillo, Texas with a broken leg and pelvis. Trixie is only 2 months old. Gracie's Project heard about her and knew they needed to step in and help.

Trixie is now at Cadillac Vet, awaiting funds for surgery to get pins and plate put in her leg. After her procedure, she will need to remain at the vet for about two weeks for physical therapy and close monitoring to ensure correct healing.

Trixie absolutely adores attention and just wants to play as any 2-month-old puppy wants to do. Unfortunately, with her injury, Trixie is unable to romp around and must remain on mostly crate rest.
