Trixie is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Madison, AL, who needs $2,000 for Cruciate Ligament Repair.

We adopted Trixie from a local pet rescue during a "name your fee" adoption event, she was about 6 months old. She is now 3yrs old and has had 1 major surgery and is now requiring another.

When we adopted Trixie she came with what was thought to be a uti, however it was quickly determined by pur Vet that was incontinent due to being spayed to early and will be on life long meds for it. She also required a total hip replacement due to what was diagnosed as a stoke in utero. That first surgery was done by the University of FL.

Trixie is loved by her family including her fur brother. She loves to take naps with our son, play with her many toys, talk back to her mom like any other teenager. She is a sassy girl who latley has had to slow down due to the need for another surgery for a torn CLC and Lux Patella on the leg opposite of the Hip Replacement. That Surgery is planned at the Blue Pearl animal Hospital in Franklin TN

We are a family of 5, my husband is a Medically Retired Marine. We have 2 kids in College and 1 in high school, and I work for our churches children's ministry. The first surgery cost us approximately $7,000, and this second one is nearly the same amount.
