Trixxie is a 11 year old Shetland Sheepdog in Puyallup, WA, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization, Doctor/Nursing, Fluids/Meds.

Trixxie came into our lives on one sweet Valentine’s Day 2013 and she has been loved ever since. At that time we had recently lost our beloved 18 yo Jack Russel terrier. Trixxie brought love, happiness, and joy to our family when we needed it most. She is kind, gentle, sweet and such a smart little baby. She loves to play fetch with one specific ball, but most of all to herd and police our cats.

Trixxie recently had a bladder infection that was treated with antibiotics. At the follow up appt it was found that it hadn’t cleared up and she was put on a stronger dose. After she had almost finished her antibiotics she started to reject her food. Another vet visit and she has a resistant UTI, bladder and kidney stones and a kidney infection and needed immediate hospitalization & intensive care

Trixxie loves and is loved by all her humans and her three feline siblings. Trixxie loves the snow, chasing and catching snowballs, playing with balls, and running and “herding” people at the beach. She also loves to talk and sing as many other Shelties do, but especially whenever a movie is playing.

In the last two years my husband passed away so I’m adjusting to a single income. I’ve paid for most of her treatment but she still needs medical treatments to fully recover. Having her back & healthy would mean the world to me and our children, as she’s integral to our unit
