About this campaign
Trouble came to live with me when she was only a couple months old. My son and his girlfriend at the time moved in with me and brought Trouble along. When they moved out, they couldn’t take her, so she stayed with me. That was 7 years ago.
We have 3 other fur babies besides Trouble. We had 4, but two weeks ago we suddenly and very unexpectedly lost one. He fell over at the water bowl, and despite my attempts at CPR, I couldn’t bring him back. It has devastated myself, my husband, Trouble, and her 3 brothers.
Trouble is the only other girl in the house, so maybe that’s why I feel she’s special. Don’t get me wrong, I love all my fur babies, but her and I kind of just have to stick together. That’s why I really have to find a way to get her the help that she needs.
Trouble hasn’t been eating much and seems to be losing weight, so I took her to our vet, New Buffalo Animal Hospital, in New Buffalo, Michigan. They said she has at least one tooth that needs to be removed, bcuz of “resorption”, and needs dental X-rays. All of that is a surgical procedure so the cost is between $750-$1000.
I’m on disability, so I just don’t have that kind of money to pay for her surgery. I’ve been on a mission to find some sort of low income vet, or anyone who will work with me to make payments. I’m coming up empty handed. I didn’t get approved for Care Credit.
