Troy is a 1-year-old Olde English Bulldog in Miami, FL, who needs $2,000 for Medial Patella Luxation (MPL) Surgery.

Our dog Troy came into our life at 5 month old. He had been in a pet store for a long time and nobody wanted him. One day we just passed by with our daughter and saw him all cooped up. So we requested to see him and instantly my husband and daughter fell in love. I was against buying but hearing how no one wanted him I fell in love and we took him home.

Our Troy is a big teddy bear. He loves attention and whines when its been a while since someone in the home has provided attention. He also loves to play with bottles. He goes crazy for them. His cot is his favorite place to rest and sleep. He is the most calm dog. Doesn't bark unless necessary. Loves looking out the window.

Troy also has a thing for hunting lizards. It is the most funny thing to watch. He loves to play tug a war with my husband. Loves to be in bed with my daughter and watch tv. He loves to be around children. Troy makes us smile when he begs for mangoes. He adores being the center of attention in our home.

On October 2022 at 8 month old we noticed that he was limping. Concern we took him to the vet and were told he needed a Medial Patella Luxation (MPL) Surgery. Troy hasn't been able to run or be a normal dog until he gets this surgery and uses pain meds to be conferrable.

My husband and I have fixed income and with the cost of living being so expensive its hard for us when the vet wants all the money up front and our dog Troy hasn't been able to do normal dog things unless he gets this surgery.
