About this campaign

About 15 years ago, Trucker was dumped from the breeding circuit because of his physical attributes, but for Joanne F., he was flawless.

"He didn't fit the bar of show dog quality like his parents because of the color of his fur. He is not black, not white, not silver, but fawn. To me, he was perfect and still is," Joanne tells Waggle.

Joanne adopted Trucker, and he's been her best friend ever since. But now she's worried and heartbroken. Trucker developed a tumor on his chest and needs immediate tests.

"I am seeking help for Trucker to receive a biopsy of the tumor," Joanne says. "He's having trouble with vertigo, restlessness, and weight loss. The Art Museum Veterinary Center veterinarian cannot prescribe a treatment plan until they diagnose it."

Joanne is struggling to pay for Trucker's care because she just spent all her emergency funds treating her other senior dog for congestive heart failure. It's been a dog double whammy to her bank account.

Trucker is so important to Joanne, and she hopes you'll help her get answers.
