Our Little Girl “TRUE” True came into our life right after my divorce from my little boys father. She quickly became my sons emotional support pup and he named her True simply because “She Was Too Good Too Be TRUE” She became part of our me and my little boys life when she was only 8wks old. True is now 8years old and is absolutely OUR EVERYTHING!

From the time my son was 7 years old, True has been right by his side. She is a tiny cuddle bug who always makes us feel so loved. She has been my sons rock through some really tough times and she has been my Angel for the past 8 years. Life without her would completely break our hearts.

True is a happy go lucky pup who still has so much spunk and puppy like behaviors, even though she is getting older. She still plays like she did when she was just a baby and she still makes us smile every single day. On bad days, True is our lifesaver for sure.

On 11/04/23, little True all of a sudden started “crying” and yelping in pain. We weren’t sure what was happening but we knew she was in pain and in definite distress. We rushed her to Hope Veterinary Hospital, where Dr. Susan examined her. She found that True had a ruptured hernia and needed immediate emergency surgery. She would go to Heaven within 24hrs without it.

Surgery was complicated. True’s intestines had twisted & were dying. After 2hrs in surgery & 6” of intestines removed, True made it through. Saving Trues life cost $1400 & as a single mom, this unexpected cost is very hard for me, but we just couldn’t live without our True
