About this campaign
We have had Tucker in our family five years, since he was about 2 months old. He is such a cool dude. He is not afraid of dogs and when he met his boxer brother at 2 months old he walked right up to him like, “hey,” lol. It startled my dog but they are now the best of buddies. He also has a baby sister kitty that does everything he does. She loves him.
Tucker 2x has a pretty cool cat life. He has a dog brother and a human brother—who both know he is the boss! He has his own personality and he’s not moving out of your way. He likes to run through the house and slide on the wood floors and he will jump about 10 feet in the air if you drop one drop of water on him smh lol.
He is such a unbothered cat, it makes me laugh. Sometimes he does things his way. He got out about 2 years ago and was missing through the winter was found and taken to the Humane Society and I found my kitty on Facebook and rescued him. He had a hard time out there but he made it through, he's such a strong guy.
I took 2x to Mountain View Animal Emergency in Hagerstown where he was brought because I noticed an immediate change in him eating and a straining to urinate and trying to go frequently. The vet said it was a urinary tract block and treated the blockage. Once home and monitoring him, he was eating and drinking but there is no urine in the litter. The vet said he must be readmitted.
This procedure is estimated to cost $2700 I have paid $400 for the treatment he received on 10/24/2021. Having my guy healthy again will fill my heart with joy. This has been a saddening experience seeing my guy like this but more for him because he’s going through this and being so tough.
