Tucker has been a “Momma’s” boy since the day she laid eyes on him. He came from a farm and was severely malnourished and had been part of overbreeding due to the growing amount of people who were looking for golden doodle puppies. He’s grown to be the sweetest and most loving boy ever.

Tucker became suddenly lethargic and did not want to walk. He cried loudly in pain. The nearest vet was over an hour away in the middle of the night. They’ve found he has Addisons disease along with a chronic IBS GI tract disorder. It took many tests and diagnostics to begin to stabilize him for proper treatment hospitalized with round the clock care at Metzgars Animal Hospital State College PA .

He immediately became attached and bonded to our newest members of the family, one who has autism and is non verbal. He has became very much a support dog emotionally and physically for my nephew. We have seen a significant increase in development over a short period of time. Tucker has been my emotional support for years and continues to do the same for others in our family. He’s truly special.

7 weeks ago we took emergency foster care custody of two children in our family ages 4 and 8. This was unexpected and has been a big adjustment for our family especially financially trying to provide for 2 additional children who had no clothing or shoes upon arrival.
